Hi,

Could you please advise, I've created a pdf using LiveCycle designer ver 8.2, users with Acrobat reader 8 are unable to see the submit form button and are unable to save the form once completed.
Is there a way to make the form compatible with older version?

Regards,
Selwyn

Which version are you having it save as? 7,8,9?
Are you using visibility and invisible states for any button?
If so do you have your document saved as a dynamic form?

To allow reader users to have a copy reopen your form
in adobe Acrobat Pro go to Advanced -> Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader

Thanks dk3dknight

I've saved it in ver 9.
No to the next two questions.

Under the advanced in Acrobat pro 9, there is no Enable Usage Rights

Goto File-SaveAs and under type pick Acrobat 7 XML Form

Tell me if that works.
