The very easiest is to name to same fields with the same name and make both fields "global" for their binding. You might want to look through the Scripting Reference provided under LiveCylce Designers Help menu.

I knew it was something easy

I did do that but did not set the binding to "Use global data"

Also beta testing LiveCycle Designer 10.0 and there is no help files yet
