Created a form with a Timestamp.

We have created a form with a timestamp, using LiveCycle Designer. When someone submits this form the time and date are accurate enough to when they emailed or saved the document.

We then add some additional information on this form and save it.

Our time and date field is changing when we do this.

Is it possible to have a time and date field that only gets populated when it is first saved or emailed?

Thanks in advance.

See thread . You'll need to look through the replies on this, as this solution was tucked away in this topic (should have been a separate on, IMO). I've used it and it works great!

Thanks for your help.

OK, now for the dumb question. I downloaded the sample from that thread and it works as stated, but how do I get to the JavaScript to edit it? I am new at this and I cannot figure out where the script editor is within LiveCycle. Also, they mention that you have to set the language for the Exit event in the Script Editor to JavaScript since it's FormCalc by default.

LiveCycle Designer provides a "Scripting Reference" as part of the application's "Help" menu, just mouse click on the "Help" option of the menu bar.

See thread .This address no longer works. Can we still get to this information using a topic?
If not, can someone post the script in this thread?
Thanks, VC
