Hi All,

I'm a real novice at creating forms using LifeCycle so any help with the coding will be greatly appreciated.

I need to create an email button on a form that will not submit the form but will merely inform the email recipient(s) that the form has been createdand saved on the network. The email address will always be the same so I would prefer if it is already set rather than user inputted. The recipient will then go to a place on the company's network to view the form and the other documentation.

I've had a look through the forums but could not find an answer to this issue (apologies if I missed anything).

Many thanks in advance.

Impossible!

You can't send something like status mails.
The user always has to confirm the mail, that always will include the form as an attachmant.

Maybe there is a solution on server side, that permanently checks the target folder for new files and creates a mail for you.
But with Designer you can't do that.
