Creating Interactive form from Word Document

Hello;

I have been asked to create a fillable form with fields that expand such that the entire form grows smoothly as the fields get bigger. I want the headers to also appear on any subsequent pages that get created as a result of text being added to the ones above it. I am using Designer 7.0 and the form was sent to me in MS Word format so I am trying to create a form first based on the Word doc then on a PDF version of the word doc and either way it has been a very frustrating process so far. I have only created very simple forms in designer from scratch and the Word document is simply too large and complex for me to recreate in Designer.

Here are my problems:
1. I am not getting an Auto field detection option so it is not automatically detecting the text fields so my form is not fillable unless I go and manually add the text fields and that is not pleasant or pretty. If that option does not exist in Designer 7.0 then what is the option to use in that release?

2. I cannot seem to find an option that allows me to create a header and footer (or uses the header/footer in the work doc)

3. How do I make the pages grow smoothly without data overlapping from the expanding sections.

My Product Information:
LiveCycle Designer, Windows

I hate to say this but your best bet is start from scratch unless someone else wants to jump in and voice a better experience or solution. My experience with bringing Word or PDF files into LiveCycle Designer as a starting point for forms has resulted in as much work if not more work just trying to clean up the mess and add fields. What you are wanting is a form with subforms that flow so everything moves up or down or onto subsequent pages depending on whether data is entered or removed and a LiveCycle Designer form will do that very nicely. With a large form such as what you are saying you have to deal with you will need to group pieces together and wrap them in subforms. Any you will probably need to add the interactive elements. I'm not sure if LiveCycle Designer brings over Word form fields or not.
