I am new to adobe and especially creating forms. What I am looking to do is create a form with a drop down list. The data in the drop down list will be a field from my SQL database table. When the user selects the appropriate one, it will fill in the rest of the fields on the from.

Another question, does anyone have any recommendations on books to help with the creation of forms and programming in forms. I currently have acrobat 8 pdf bible but that does not go into forms in the detail that I am looking for.

I would like to use livecycle forms to link and input data to an oracle database. However I would like to have a delayed sync. When the information is entered in the forms, there will be no internet connection. When an internet connection is available, then the sync to the database will occur.
