Data flowing to a different page with different formatting.

Hello All,

Is there any way to create a form whose overflow data will generate another page that has different formatting (i.e., different margin set)? I cannot seem to do this without having a second page off the bat. I need the second page to only generate when the data fields from the first page overflow.

Thanks for any help!

Hi,

You can achieve this, however you will need to do a few things to set it up.

First go to the Master Pages view and insert a new Master Page. Set this up as to how you want it to appear (margins, etc).

Select Master Page1 and in the Object > Master Page tick "restrict page occurrence" to 1.Then select your first layout page and in the Object > Pagination tab change the "After" to "go to" Master Page2.This should force Acrobat/Reader to go to the second Master page, once data flows beyond page1.

Test and amend if necessary.

Thanks, Niall!

This works great, except that I now start off with a blank second page every time I open up this form. Is there a way I can do this without having the second page appear until data flows onto it?

Thanks, again!

Because we have restricted the Master Page1 to a max occurrence of 1, try leaving the pagination as "Continue filling parent".
