Data/Display Pattern

Seems simple, yet I can't figure it out. I'm using LiveCycle 7.0 and I'm trying to show the display pattern on a numeric field as %, yet pass the data pattern (0.00) to the generate XML that is coming back to me.

I know I could do it when I tried trial version of 8.0, but I had to use 7.0 due to company IT restrictions on new software.

Any advice on this would be great!

Here's a picture clause that does Percent formatting. '\u0025' is unicode for %

num(en){szzzzzvz9'.'9z'\u0025'}

Place it in the "Display Pattern". Enter only the numerical value into the field. This display pattern will do the rest.
