deleting a page w/in an XML form

I created a form with multiple pages in Designer (XML form). I subsequently have added data to the various fields w/in the form pages. I now want to delete one of the pages in the form ... how is this accomplished? I've tried exporting the data, deleting the page in Designer, then importing the data only to find the "deleted" page is still there. I understand why that is the case, but how can I delete the page AND the data from this form?
