Hello

How can I reduce the file size of my forms?

Forms that are created are static 7 and end up being 2 and 3 meg in size, finished. Too large for emailing.

Any suggestions..

Thanks Michael Howe

In my experience, Designer files are twice the size of forms created in Acrobat.

Steps you can take to reduce Designer file sizes include:
1)Eliminate unnecessary JavaScripts
2)Reduce the size of bitmap graphics before bringing them into Designer.
3)Simplify your design.
4)Switch to AcroForms, the type created by Acrobat (not Designer.

Since you are using static forms, there may be no reason for you to use Designer and #4 may be your answer.

I am designing a form with LC Designer 8 and would like to know how I can have fields repopulated to reflect what has been entered into previous fields, ie, the field 'Name' needs to be on page 1 of the form PLUS all other pages. I would like all the other pages to fill-in automatically after it is entered on the first page. (This can not be done on the Master page.)

Thank you for your help.
