Docs on What Earlier Ver's of Reader/Pro can handle from LiveCycle 8

I have a form designed in LiveCycle Forms Designer 8 and all the scripts don't seem to run on Reader/Pro 7. I was wondering if there was any documentation on how 7 reacts to scripts in 8 and if there was anything to stay away from.

my forms are used by a wide audience with many different versions of acrobat reader and pro - so it is important for me to know that what I give them will work.

Thanks!

Unfortunately the LiveCycle Scripting documentation is not as good as the Acrobat JavaScript Reference at pointing out version dependancies. But there are only a few changes and these are mostly shortcuts created for features that were already in the LiveCycle 7 Object Model. For example, the "mandatory" field property did not exist in LiveCycle 7.

What is the error your getting? Have you checked in the JavaScript Console?
