Does Adobe Reader 8 has the capability of interpreting Java Scripts and displaying data from a data connection

I have a form developed with Designer 8 which has multiples drop-down list boxes and standard buttons defined with java scripts and a data connection to an Access database. When I try to view this form in Adobe Reader 8 those java-scripted boxes and buttons aren't able to display the data when you execute them. Does Adobe Reader 8 has the capability of interpreting Java Scripts and displaying data from a data connection?

Yes, of course it does. However, the document requires Reader Rights Enabling before it will work. Unfortunately, DB connections are not part of the Rights that can be applied from Acrobat 8 Pro. You need one of the Adobe Servers for that.
