I have created a submitable form and have a drop down menu that needs to be filled out in order to send. I want it to determine email recipients based on wich option is selected. My drop down list is locations, so I want the email to go to a person at that location. This form works great as is I just would like it to work better. Can someone help?

Hi Dave!

I was bored and looking through the unanswered questions when I found this. Did you find a solution to your problem, and if so, would you mind posting it so others can benefit from it? If not, could you please tell us how you are currently handling this, so we can make suggestions that may improve it?

Thanks!

Hi,

How about editing the dropdown in LC Designer, so that the display items (Object > Field palette) are set to the locations, but the corresponding bound items (Object > Binding palette) are set to the appropriate email addresses. This way when you access the dropdown's .rawValue you will get the email address, while the user sees the location.

If that suits there are examples for building a custom email script.

Hope this helps,

Niall
