I am hoping this is fairly easy for someone to assist with. I have a Reader 8.0 user, who when done comleting a LCD form it doesn't display the typical 3 options for how to select his email account. Instead of dispalying the Desktop Appliication, Internet application, or Other because I forget the last option, it defaults and opens up his email with the attached xml file

I wouldn't think that should be a problem, but I'm not receiveing his email. He told me he is an Outlook Express users and has been for sometime. It sounds like just a setting somewhere, but I can't help it.

Thanks
Carol

Acrobat has it's own logic about what options to display to the user. You don't have much control over it. Typically, it'll display the options if the user doesn't have a MAPI client setup. Since they do have a MAPI client, it's sending the form data to it.

If you can verify that the user actually sent the email, they it's possible that it was blocked on your end. Check you spam and junk folders. Ask IT about it.

But of course, still confused. You indicate "since they do have a MAPI client (which I'm assuming what Outlook Express is), his client is sending the form data to his own outlook mailbox?

I thought by my using the email button, and indicating my email address on it, I should be getting it. And I do have a junk folder set up and I've not received it in there.

First verify that the user sent the email. If it is in thier sent folder, then the problem is on your end. If the email never sent, then it is a problem on the user end. But, since Acrobat displayed the Outlook UI for sending the email, it did it's bit, Acrobat is not the problem.
