Embedded Fonts in Livecycle Designer

Hi,

Please can you tell me about embedding fonts in Livecycle Designer 8.

I have a two page form. One page uses Helvetica fonts. This page alone is 22kb when saved with embedded fonts. However, when I save the form with both pages, the file bloats to 900 kb. The second page only use the standard fonts 'Calibri' and 'Courier New' which shouldn't need to embedded anyway, right?

Is there a way to reduce the file size?

Thanks,

Joe

File size in Designer is far more related to the number of objects in the form than the fonts. Combine as many text objects as possible to help keep file size down.

My rule of thumb is to expect Designer forms to be at least twice the size of Acrobat forms.
