Field content is deleted on printing

I have created a form in LC 8.2.1 which has an area with several fields located on the master page. The rest of the form works as intended, but the fields on the master page permanently delete their content if I go to print. The fields are all set to "visible" and have "normal binding". Does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this?

The masterpage is not the place for fields you use for user inputs.
You should place them on a body page.
