I created a form and saved it as a pdf. Now when I open it with acrobat and fill it out I want to save it so no one can edit it. I am using the form as a proposal and when I fill it out I save it with the persons last name in my documents. But currently when I do it the person that i email the form to can change the info that i put into the form fields. How can I fix this problem?

Have you looked at using a digital signature that uses a digital certificate and locking all the field when the signature field is completed?

You could make the fields read only.

If you has used Acrobat, you could use JS to flatten the PDF.

Using a signature field, will allow for locking fields and once saved, only you can remove the signature. You will also be able to tell if someone modified the form. Adobe has a number of documents about this.
