I have created a form that is a couple of pages long, I have duplicate field on page 1 & 3 "Organization Name". When the submitter fills out the field on page 1, I want it also automatically populate the "Organization Name" field on page 3. Can you provide me with the process or code to so.

My Product Information:
LiveCycle Designer, Windows

Hi mnee,

If you created the form in Acrobat then simply naming the fields with identical names will do this (entering data into one field will automatically populate other fields with the exact same name).

If you created the form in LiveCycle Designer there is one extra step besides using identical field names- you must also set one of the fields to "global" by going to the Binding tab in Object Properties and set the Binding to Global.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri

I can use this feature of naming fields identical names, and it affecting both fields. However, how can the person filling out the form have the option of deleting the automatically entered information and correct the suggestion, but only change the field they are correcting, not all fields with the same name?
