Help the Newbie!!! E-mail Completed Forms

I created an interactive form for employees to complete. I put in a Send button so the completed form would be e-mailed. All of this works. The problem is when the e-mail receipient opens the attachment, it is jibberish. I think I have to do something with data sets, but I don't know what.

Please help. Thanks.

Instead of the built-in E-Mail button, choose just the normal Button. On the field tab, make it a Submit button, then on the Submit tab choose Submit As: PDF.

The only thing is that it sends it as an editable PDF. I think there is a way you can code it to lock it when it is sent, but I don't know that yet. Try searching the posts for that. :)

I hope this helps!!!!! :)

Thanks. I did what you said, but when I click on send, it gives me an error message about not being connected to the internet, or mistake in the email address.

In the url field, I only put my email address...should I have added anything else?

Thanks for the help!
