How to Convert LiveCycle Forms to PDF/A

I am trying to convert different livecycle (Acrobat 8) forms to PDF/A and get this error message: "PDF file is encrypted and cannot be processed by a Preflight profile that contains fix-ups."

Sounds like a foreign language to me. Where are good resources to teach me how to convert my filled forms to PDF/A? We are ISO registered and I would like to save records in the PDX/A or similar standard.

I also happen to be the creator of the livecycle forms as well as the quality manager/document control specialist.

The discussion of "What does PDF/A-1 allow/disallow?" in this AIIM FAQ PDF may be of help.

Also, this Adobe document is very informative -

Does your form have any security set on it? You can check under File > Properties Security tab.

I had 'Enabled Usage Rights' which happens to be a security, so removed that. Now the error message reads 'the PDF file is encrypted and can not be processed by a preflight profile that conatins fixups.' Initially I had received an error re: fonts not embedded (Myriad Pro, the default font of LiveCycle). I found the Myriad Pro font family from the Adobe Program file and copied it into Win XP's font file, so I am not getting that 'embedded font' error message.
