My apologies for what must seem a dumb question but I am a complete novice and haven't been given any training on this - I have designed my form but cannot work out how to add a watermark on all pages - I'm guessing I have to do this on the master page, but how?

LiveCycle Designer, Windows

You cannot add a traditional PDF watermark to a form created in LiveCycle Designer, unless that form was created with a fixed PDF background.

I'm not completely sure, but I think the best you could do is add an image to Master page. You'll need to create the watermark text as in image file. I gave this a quick try and had to do a little coaxing to get the image to display.

Here's what I did:
1. Add image field to master page
2. click on image field and set the image
3. On the "Object" tab for the image field, change the field type to static image

This worked for an Designer 8 static form. I didn't try the dynamic form.

You can add a text or image at the masterpage and set its presence to "visibe only at print".
So you have a text like "for internal use only" on the form when it is pinted out.
