How to install Adobe Reader 7

I've written some PDF forms with LiveCycle Designer 8 and saved them in "Acrobat 7 Dynamic" format for some (large) clients who are unable to upgrade their desktops from reader 7. They've reported that they still cannot open these forms.

I need to be able to test this for myself, so is there any way to download Adobe Reader 7?

If you go to Adobe.com to down load Reader and select an OS of Windows 2000 SP2-3, you'll be able to download Reader 7.0.9

Thanks for the quick reply!

I've successfully installed 7.0.9, tested the PDF and it comes up with the update message. However when you open the form properties box it says the version is PDF 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x).

So it sounds like you are able to open the forms. What is the exact text of the update message you mentioned? Does the form behave as you expect? If not, in what way?
