Hi,

As the topic suggests, I want to put a button (or any other object onto my form and it should be invisible - as in the user can not see it - but its still on the page and you can still click it as long as you know its there.

The button/item will add new rows into my form and i dont want people to add new rows unless they know of the button.

You can create a rectangle and change the fill color and border color to none color.
So, it's invisible but also present and can be used as button for example.

Ahhh, there you have me!!! My mistake. :-°

You need a button of course and set its fill and border colors to none.
Mark the button and under the object tab select cutomised for the appearance.
In the following dialog you can control the colors.
