What I need: I have a drop down list containing the following: OTB, Live Racing & VGM. I have numbers that represent each of the 3, and would like the number to show up in a numeric field based on the drop down list selection.
 
I know I need some script, though I am a beginner, and am not sure what to do.

LiveCycle Designer, Windows

Are you setting the export value for each option?

If so then you only need to get the value of the drop down box object.

Are you using FormCalc or JavaScript.

LiveCycle Designer has a Scripting Reference under its Help menu option.

I am using JavaScript. Regarding the other question you asked...I do not know all that much about the software other than making minimal changes. The company I work for just through this all in my lap. Is there anywhere that can show me with screen shots, how to do what I want?
