I'm using LiveCycle designer 8.0 and want to be able to link to another PDF from inside my document.

I've created an account opening document and want users to be able to link to other forms they may need. I only see the option to link to a website or WSDL (which I don't understand). Thanks in advance!

I may have missed something, but I only see instructions to hyperlink to a webpage. How would I link to a Word document on my server?

Sorry -- I missed the part that mentioned the link was to Word doc and not another PDF. I don't believe this is possible due to security restrictions.

I know this is an old query, but I stumbled across it when looking for something else. Seeing I have an answer, I might as well provide it in case anyone else is wondering...

You can link to a Word document if it's within a website. So you would simply insert in your script the URL for that website along with the relevant filepath, then document name. So an example I can give you from our company website would be to use the script below (but obviously insert your relevant URL and filepath/filename details).

app.launchURL("http://www.jas-anz.org/images/stories/Documents/Forms/form11.doc", true);
