I believe that with reader rights enabled, one can not import XML data into a LC2 form (using Acobat 9 pro) due to security issues.
ie: open form in Acrobat 9 Pro, export data to xml, try and reimport same data and it fails.
Is this correct?

Folow up question
Has anything changed with Acrobat X Pro to allow XML data import?

Another follow up queation:
Can one convert a NON reader enabled PDF to Reader enabled on the fly using JS Code?
ie: open form with out reader rights enabled, load the XML, then save the form with reader rights enabled, then send the form to the appropriate person for data input/review.

Hi,

locked data import on reader enabled forms is still present in Acrobat X.

The only JS I know to apply usage rights is:
app.execMenuItem("DIGSIG:UBDoc");
But, you cannot automate this (i.e. in a batch) because this menu item opens a dialog which cannot be bypassed via scriptings. :-(
