Inactive in Designer but not in Acrobat

I created an interactive dynamic form in Designer 7 and it works in the Designer Preview PDF view, but when I open the form using Acrobat Pro, the form is static - I cannot enter any data and none of the drop down boxes work. The form is saved as a dynamic PDF Form file and when I go the Forms menu in Acrobat 7 the "Make Form Fillable in Adobe Designer" selection is greyed out.

How do I make the form interactive in Acrobat?

Forms made in Designer cannot be edited in Pro. And if you are opening it in Pro that's what the "greyed out" stuff is saying.

Try opening it as a user would, in Reader 7 or 8 , and see if it's interactive then.

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.

Thanks, carrimak. That's exactly what was happening. It is fillable in Reader.
