We use several infopath templates in our office which have master-detail designations built in. Basically, this allows me to create an index of items in one table and then, by going from item to item, have a second table pop up where data can be inputted for each index item. I can then switch back and forth between the index items and the related data tables by clicking on the individual items. I am trying to use LiceCycle to create a form which hsa the same functionality but can be sent to users who do not have access to InfoPath and can't receive InfoPath embedded emails. I have tried subforms, choice subforms, subform sets, grouped tables, etc. to no avail.
Incidentally, I am somewhat versed in JS, but not to the extent that I can just figure out the scripting required for such a design. Any help, suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!
Not an answer. Rather a "just fwiw" -
The "javascript" associated with Acrobat forms and LiveCycle Designer are two specific "flavors" of Adobe's iteration of javascript. So "web javascript" won't be something that can be used.
