Inserting a new page

Hi,
I am working in Livecycle designer V8 and have created forms with fillable fields, all works perfectly. I am now trying to insert a new page which I anticipated to be very simple, however the INSERT - NEW PAGE commands do not seem to created the expected new blank page within the Design view. However I see that in the PDF view 2 blank pages are displayed at the start of the document. What am I doing wrong. The new page I am wishing to insert is a another PDF document , is there a way to combine one document to another making one document?

A hidden page template could solve this problem. You will have to insert a JavaScript command on a button to make this happen. JavaScripts written in version 7 need to be converted for Designer 8.
