Inserting a page in the beginning of the form

I have 100+ forms created in Livecycle Designer, and am trying to go back and add a cover page to the beginning of each form.

I am selecting Insert -> New Page. The blank page is appearing at the bottom of the form. From the hierarchy palette, I am selecting th new page and moving it up to the top. I am placing it above the first page in succession, as this works with all other pages. The new page is populated at the beginning, however now there are two pages at the beginnning of the document: the new blank page that I want to be there, AND a master page, that I cannot delete.

Please help.

The master pages are a kind of formatting template/background that is applied to all pages. To get a new look on the first page you'll need to create a new blank master page that is only applied to the first page.

Thanks for your response Thomp, but I don't need a new look on the first page; i just need a blank page (of the same master template) on the first page. From there I will add the fragements, content, etc.

A blank page is a new look. If you want the first page blank, then you need a blank master page.

Had the same problem. The unwanted page disappear if you temporary move your new page into a Masterpage (or other Subform), and then move it to its proper location after the (Master Pages).

Ta da! No extra blank page ahead of the newly inserted page.

Using Livecycle Designers ES 8.2. It's so sloooow.
