I have created a form in Live Cycle Designer and was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a calculation field to create a unique order number on the form. I want this calculation to be saved when the submit by email button is clicked so when I open it from an email I know the calculation hasn't changed inbetween the user filling in the form and myself opening it. Is this popssible? Any help would be much appriciated.

The easiest answer is to mark the field as "Calculated Read-Only" in Object > Value > Type:

I've already tried this and it doesn't seem to stop the field recalculating whenever the document is opened. Which is a bit of a problem as it means the user will have 1 reference number and when I open the file it recalculates and gives me a different reference number. Any other ideas?!
