LiveCycle problem

Hi. I've created a form using LiveCycle. I have a field that calculates the time when users open the form to create a unique job no. Only problem is when the form is submitted back to me by email the time recalculates to the time that I open the form rather than the time the user filled it in. Is there a way to embed the time info into the form when the user submits by email? Or is there an easier solution to this to create unique job numbers that don't change?!
Any help would be very much appriciated!

I have a different problem. I need help calculating formulas in Livecycle.

Amount = Qty x Unit Price
Subtotal = All Amounts
Grant Total = Subtotal + State Tax + Federal Tax + Shipping Cost

I am in Adobe 8.0 Professional. My Manager and I do not know how to calculate using Formcalc. Could you please provide the steps.
I just signed up and hope you can help or direct me to someone who can. The help feature does not explain fully how to make these formulas. - Thanks,

well better get the form calc refernce guide it sucks but ita a place to start also if your using the program the sample is already built for what you want go to the program folder usually C:/programfiles/adobe/acrobat8/EN/samples or do a search using hidden files and folders to find it Purchase Order.pdf there you can see how someone already did it
