Need to give users the ability to edit font when completing form

I created a form in LifeCycle to use with Adobe 9. I will be the primary user of this form; I am using it as a template to complete detailed information that I submit daily.

I would like to be able to underline some data when I am completing the form in Acrobat. I do not want to change the font properties for the entire field, I only want to be able to underline specific text within form fields as I am completing the form.

Is this possible???

Look at using the 'Rich Text' property of the field. This is not the same as the coding system used by the RTF file format.

To expand a bit on gkaiseril's post, enabling the 'rich-text' property (instead of plain text) allows you to include formatting in the field.

While you're filling out the form, hit ctrl-e to open up the text-editing toolbar. This toolbar allows you to change font size/color/weight/family, etc.

Alternatively, you could edit the text in word, then copy/paste it into a rich-text enabled field. The formatting will persist (except for things such as tables, which will be lost).

Hope that helps.
