Newbie to LiveCycle - Multiple Drop Downs

I have a form that has two drop down boxes. The first drop down contains three selections:

1. Hispanic or Lation Origin

2. Not Hispanic or Latino Origin

3. Not Answered.

If the user selects:

1. then no further action required (skip the next drop box)

2. then go to the next drop down box and select one of them

3. then do the same as number 2.

Is there a way to set this up? Can anyone help and let me know how to do this or where to look to find the answer? Thanks!

Hi shanzel,

Welcome to AUC- you have come to a good place to learn about programming your PDF forms. At the top of this page is a menu and you will see the "Learning Center" There are great tutorials, on-demand e-seminars, and sample files there that you should spend some time reading and viewing. It will be time well spent since you are new to LiveCycle Designer forms.

In particular, this tutorial with sample file to down load is specifically on your question. http://www.acrobatusers.com/tutorials/2007/js_list_combo_livecycle/

Hope this helps,
