Numeric fields accept non-numeric values for *some* users

I'm just starting out with LiveCycle and am having fun with it so far. But I've come accross a strange issue:

- I have a number of "numeric field" objects on my form.
- When I view them in Adobe Reader 8, they accept only numerical values (no letters, no pound signs etc).
- But, a number of users with various versions of Adobe Reader are reporting that they are able to enter non-numerical values into these fields, and that when they then exit the field, the value is reset to 0.

This is a problem because a number of users initially enter a pound sign, then enter a value, which is then reset when they exit the field.

Can anyone shed any light as to why this is happening? An example of a form affected by this is available at http://www.haphy.com/form.pdf . Just scroll down and try entering a value in the "Items over £250" table.

Even if you don't know what I'm doing wrong, it'd be really helpful for me just to know whether you do or don't see this issue.

Thanks for your time.

Pete

Anyone? Even confirmation that it works ok for you would be really helpful.

I have a similar problem, on a registration form that I have set up, there is a phone number field and on certain forms we get back it shows all zero, and the people have told us that it resets everything to zeros after they put their phone number in, I have yet to figure out where the problem is coming from nor a solution.
