PDF preview not working

I have recently downgraded from Acrobat 9 to 8 in order to match software used by colleagues. Now when I open a form I made before, the PDF view is not working properly. The form is viewable but I can't click into any of the fields to check that they are working, even though they work after the file is saved. I have tried creating a brand new form in LiveCycle and added a text field but when i go to preview it in the PDF I cant click on the field. I can highlight static text, but not the text fields.
Please can anyone help me?

Hello,

You have to change your preview settings in your LC designer. Open your form and under |Edit| goto to properties and then select preview tab and change the settings to show dynamics pdf in your preview.
