Printing content of expandable fields

I've created some fields that 'allow multiple lines'. When a user enters data that exceeds the physical size of the box naturally you can scroll through to see their text. However, when you print the form, only the text that's displayed at the time is printed.

Is there a way to set up a print mode that will print the entire content of each of these fields?
Thanks, Peta

Don't know about a print code but you can make the fields so that they will automatically expand to show all the data in the field. You would put a check in the Autofit box under Height in the Layout tab of the field(s). Then when you print, all of it will be printed.

Hi Sue, I tried that. It sounds like it should work but it didn't seem to make any difference. I'm wondering if there's anything else I have in my setup that cancels that out. I switched off 'allow multiple lines' to see if that was it - but that just totally eliminated my multi line capability.

So I don't know if there's something else I should be doing?

Hi PetafromOz,

Have you saved it as a Dynamic form?

Hope this helps,

Oops, good thinking Dimitri.
It works now - thankyou and Sue so much.

Now I have to make it look tidy when it expands the field over the type of my subsequent fields. I've got my work cut out. :D
