Printing entire scripts for form

Is there a way to print the scripts, and preferably all the scripts for a given form/project?

I've been asked to make some fairly dramatic changes to functionality on one of my forms. Naturally, they've chosen the most complex (ya gotta love clients) and I need to review all my scripts to get the full context and make sure I don't miss anything.

Thanks in advance, Peta

The scripts both FormCalc and JavaSctript are containded within the XML source of the page. But I know of no other method for listing them. You can not use the "Document all Scripts" in Acrobat.

That's disappointing. I even tried to cut & paste into Word, but as you say, couldn't display all the scripts - I had to go to selective areas and do it - thus not getting the entire picture. Printing the entire XML would be pretty cumbersome, but maybe I'll have to do that. But thanks for your reply gkaiseril.

Click on the top of your form in the hierarchy ("form1" unless renamed) and in the script editor select "Events with Scripts".

That should list all scripts in the form and you can copy and paste from there.

Or, if you're just printing, you can expand the scripting area and Print Screen and paste. That way you can get the location line too.

The above method won't show Script Objects, if used.

Hope this helps,

@Dimitri, this method shows script objects - they're at the very end of the list.

@scderacjor, you also get the location line with this method.

With version 8 Professional, this does not list all the scripts in the form and at the subform I can not see the scripts for the individual fields within the subform, only the scripts that apply to the subform.

Acrobat has a feature that lets one "Edit All Document Scripts" and this option list all of the scripts down to the individual fields used in the PDF form and indicates the detailed location of each script.

Do you mean the version of LiveCycle that came with Acrobat 8?

I'm using LiveCycle Designer 8.2 and it works fine.

Yes.

I see one also needs to set the view to include "Show Events for Child Objects".

Thanks everyone for your replies. I've been out of town on conferences - only got back last night, which is why I haven't responded sooner. I'll have a look at all of these and see how I go.
