QuickBooks Communication Error!

Help... anyone... please!

I've purchased Acrobat 9 Pro solely for its "Sync to QuickBooks" feature. I've created my form in LiveCycle (per Adobe/QB specifications), filled in the fields and clicked "Sync to Quickbooks" from the Forms menu. A pause... then an Acrobat Window: "1 response(s) not sent to QuickBooks -- Error! | Quickbooks communication error." Aaaarrgh!

I've allowed Acrobat to connect and access data in the QB Integrated Applications menu. -- What am I doing wrong? I'm using QB Pro 2004.

Thanks for any assistance!

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

Hi direnzoa,

In the Acrobat 9 Help it states-

"Adobe tests with and supports the QuickBooks features in Acrobat 9 Pro and Acrobat 9 Pro Extended with the following QuickBooks products: QuickBooks Pro 2007 and 2008, and QuickBooks Premier Editions 2007 and 2008."

So the problem could be that you are using an older version of QuickBooks than is supported for this feature.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri

Thanks... I'm going to try it with the newest version of QuickBooks. Luckily, Intuit offers a full refund of the purchase price if it doesn't meet my needs. I'll post back in a day or so to let others know if it's a success.

Thanks again for your response-- sounds like that may be the problem.

There are some known limitations with Acrobat 9 and Quickbooks listed in the Acrobat and Intuit QuickBooks blog.

Sure enough... I purchased Quickbooks Pro 2009 and my form syncs information perfectly. I'll save time and headache next time by READING the software specs!

Thanks for all your help.
