Remove PDF Restrictions

I created several fillable forms using Adobe Designer and would now like to create one form from all the fillable forms. However, when I go to Acrobat to create a PDF from multiple files, the program will not allow me to do so. How do I remove the restrictions on the fillable PDF files in order to compile them?--or is there a work around that will allow me compile them?

Thanks!

Hi codyjordan,

Forms created in LiveCycle Designer are XFA with a PDF wrapper around them. In other words, they are NOT PDF forms, they are XFA forms. As such, you are not able to combine them with Acrobat (which is a totally separate program from LC Designer even though they come in one box) into one big form. I believe you could make one large XFA from all of your individual forms inside Designer, but I have not done this myself before- you'll have to try it and see.

You don't say what version of Acrobat you have, but if you are working with Acrobat 8 there is a new "Package" feature that lets you put many different forms and file types together in a package. Ted Padova discusses the new Package feature in an article here at AUC-

Hope that helps,
