How can my end users save their information in a fillable Adobe form created in LiveCycle (Adobe 8.1 Pro)?

Using the "xfa.host.exportData" method will allow you to push the data of the form to your file system outside of the form.

If you are purely looking to have users with Reader save their forms then you will need to Extend the form. You can do this with either Acrobat for a limited number of users or Reader Extensions for a wider base.

Do you mean that using acrobat pro policy can be applied so that acrobat reader users will be able to export data as xml? If yes can you please help me out and let me know how to do so. I have tried certifying the pdf, enabling user rights, but while it works fine in the acrobat pro, in reader gives security error.
