Signing prohibition for specific users

Hi everyone:

I was wondering if it is possible to ban some specific users from signing my signature fields in pdf forms.

I will explain. Now I'm checking out users' signatures with signatureInfo() and verifying in an external database if they are allowed to sign certain kind of documents. The problem is that this way of verification could only be done AFTER the sign stamp is included into the document (so, after that I'm not able to clean the Signature field in Adobe Reader)

Do you have any idea of how could I do this specific user's signing restriction?

Thanks for your time.

Regards

Javier

Stab in the dark here, but what about using two signature fields? Make the real one invisible and let the user sign the visible test version. Now you can check the eligibility to sign, hide the test field and display the real field if the user is an authorized signer, while an unauthorized signer will never even see the real signature field and for that reason can't sign it.

Just an idea!
