Tab Order in Acrobat Professional 8.0

I just installed the trial version of Acrobat Professional 8.0 which is supposed to be a fully working version. I seem to have troubles with the tab order, even when I specify the order and save the file, they still default to the order in which the fields were created. I am on Windows Professional XP version 2002 (with service pack 2). Please help...thanks!

You can set the tab order manually.

1. Choose Forms > Edit Fields > Set Tab Order.Note: You can choose this command only if the tab order property in the Page Properties is set to Unspecified. You can verify this by selecting the page in the Pages panel and choosing Page Properties in the Pages panel Options menu or context menu.

2. Click No in the message that appears.
Numbers representing the tabbing order for the fields appear in the upper left corner of each field.

Note: If you decide not to change the tabbing order, click a blank area of the page or a part of the page that is not part of a field. This hides the tabbing order numbers so that clicking a field no longer changes the tabbing order.

3. Click anywhere in the field that you want to be first in the tabbing order.
The number in the upper left corner is set as 1.

4. Click each of the other fields in the order that you want tabbing to occur.

Many thanks! I don't seem to see the Edit Fields option within Forms. However, I also just realized that I made these edits in Adobe LiveCycle Designer. Maybe that's why I can't edit them now within Acrobat 8. Do you have familiarity with LiveCycle Designer?

It seems to tab first amongst the text boxes (but tab through check boxes without problems) but then the radio buttons are tabbed through last in order in which I created them. The page properties is set to Unspecified, as you had mentioned.
