Tables aren't expanding

Hi everyone,

I've placed a table on the page in Livecycle designer. It consists of 1 column and 4 rows. I specified the first cell to be an image field so users can insert an image. The second cell is set to be a text field so a testimonial can be entered. The third cell is another text field for the author's name, and the last cell is another image field for a logo image file to be inserted.

I put the fields into a table because I wanted to keep all this information together in 1 block and I thought that if I used a table the information would expand as needed. For example after the first image is inserted in the first cell, they enter a testimonial in the second cell where the text field is set to multiline. I thought that this second cell would expand vertically to fit the content (as a normal table cell does in Word) and the third and fourth cell would just be pushed down (again since it's part of a table). This isn't happening even though I have the "expand to fit" option checked in the layout tab. The table cell isn't expanding - the text field is just adding scrollbars which isn't what I want.

Does anyone know why this is happening or what I might be doing wrong?

LiveCycle Designer, Windows

Your subform that the table is on would need to be dynamic so that it can expand the field. Is it dynamic?

Thanks for the reply,

This is my first experience using Livecycle so I'm not really sure about the subform. I know there's a subform object - do I need to insert the table in this object? If yes, how do I do this. If I do this, will this automatically make the table expand? How can you tell if a subform is dynamic?
