What happened to feild options pane from v8 & earlier

In Acrobat version 8 and earlier, when changing a field you could select any number of options for the field, including setting a specific field size in inces, mm or whatever. That's gone in v9. What happened to it? It was a lot easier to set field sizes with that than the new menu.

I think you mean the "Layout" pane. And it's still there in LiveCycle Designer 8.2. Look on the "Windows" menu.
