HI,

I've finally found how tu send a completed form as pdf attached to a mailto function.

It works perfectlty with adobe professional but when someone tries with reader, that is impossible to send.

Why that ? does somebody know if this kind of what is for me an Adobe "need to buy the pro version to use it" function can be short-circuited?

Thank you and sorry for my english

Bye

Not impossible, just more work.

See the JS API for this method. The quick bar indicates that this feature is restricted with Reader to the "F" requirement or you need to apply Extended From Rights to the PDF by use of the LiveCycle server or Acrobat 8 Professional.

You'll need to Reader-enable your form with Acrobat 8 Pro. or Acrobat 9 (check out the EULA for limitations) in order for this to work in Reader.

Hello Ikassuba,

Thanks for your message. I am working for a provincial government in Canada that means that I expect to have Acrobat 8 Pro when the the Acrobat Pro 25 will be released!!

Do you think that I can send you my form and ask you to Reader-enable the form for me?

Thank you

You can always download a trial version (free) to check out the Reader-enabling capability. Be sure to read the EULA regarding limitations on Reader-enabling your forms.

Thank you Ikassuba,

I'am going to try that but I am pretty sure that I need to be administrator of my computer to install it!

Have a nice day
