I have a very important document in Acrobat 8.0 pro XML form format and I need it to be in regular pdf format. Is there any way to do this? I absolutely need to combine this form with other PDFs and creating a package doesn't cut it. In Designer, I saved the form as Acrobat 8.0 pro pdf static, but it will still not combine.

Adobe is working hard to make it difficult to convert XFA forms to regular Acrobat forms.

Your options: Use the PDF Package feature in Acrobat 8 Pro, embed the XFA form as an attachment in the regular PDFs, or install Acrobat 7. With 7 you can choose the "Document extract pages" feature or "Convert Web Page to PDF" options to turn an XFA form into a PDF.
