I've just stared using acrobat 8.1.pro
I'm very new so it might be something I'm doing?
Iv been following some tutorials and I carnt get the link button to work.
I'm doing this.

1 using the advanced editing tools select the link button
2 highlight the area I want to make in to a web link
3 it seems to stall and then crash and send an error report
or
it seems to be working and as soon as I click on web link in the menu it then crashes and sends an error report.

in fact as soon as the link button is pressed it will crash it. a massage comes up saying
acrobat 8.1 has encountered an error and needs to close.

is it something IM doing wrong?

I have it installed on a lop top and on my desk top it dose the same on both computers.

You're following the correct process to create the link; however, the behavior you're experiencing is unusual. What OS are you running Acrobat on? Have you tried doing a Repair Installation under the Help menu?
