When I click Ctrl-K to open the preference dialog in A9 Pro Extended on my Windows Vista machine at home I get the warning that the app has stopped working and crashes. When I do the same at work on my Windows XP machine Everything works.

I can get to preferences on my home Vista machine only by choosing it from the Edit menu.

I never noticed this happening before last night.

Hi StevenD,

I just tested doing this on Windows Vista Ultimate with Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, and Ctrl-K worked fine for me. May be time to do a detect and repair- sounds like something got corrupted.

Hope this helps,

Hi StevenD,

Sorry about that. That menu item used to be named "Detect and Repair" but is now "Repair Acrobat Installation" under the Help menu. I checked on Acrobat 8 and it is "Repair Acrobat Installation" there too, so it was previous to 8- geez!

Anyway, give it a try. I hope it solves the problem.

Hope this helps,
