ACROBAT 6 UNABLE TO CONNECT TO SCANNER

I am using Acrobat Standard V6.0.0 , Wndows XP, latest updates. All my other MS apps can connect to my scanner . Acrobat cannot. I am selecting the correct scanner. The message I get is "ERROR INTERACTING WITH SCANNER- THE SELECTED SCANNER WAS NOT FOUND"
I reloaded Acrobat 6 and still no luck...

Any help would be appreciated....

Have you tried reinstalling your TWAIN driver or tried creating a new user account with Admin privledges? Other troubleshooting tips are available at:
